Our Core Values & Beliefs

We believe that God Transforms.

As broken healed healers, we believe that God’s goal is to see us transformed into the likeness of His Son, Jesus. The Bible says that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us (Romans 5:8). While we were broken in our sin God made a way for us, through Christ, to be healed. And in being healed, God wants us to partner with Him in bringing others to Christ so that they might experience this same healing. Broken, Healed Healers, evidence of God’s transforming work.

WE BELIEVE THAT GOD LOVES.

Not only does God love, but it is His essence. 1 John 4:8 tells us that God is love. And it goes on to say in verse 9, “This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.”

The greatest expression of God’s love for us is the sending of His Son, Jesus, to be the sacrifice for our sins, to pay the debt we could not pay. This example of love becomes the model by which we seek to love others. As 1 John 4 concludes, “We love because he first loved us” (v19) and “Anyone who loves God must also love their brother and sister” (v21). Therefore, we love others because God loves us.

WE BELIEVE THAT GOD EQUIPS.

The saying goes, “God doesn’t call the equipped, He equips the called.” We believe He does both! In fact, Ephesians 4:11-13 tells us that God is working through the equipped to equip others for the work to which He has called them.

11 So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, 12 to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up 13 until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.

God equips us for the works to which He calls us so that we might grow in the image of His Son, Jesus.

WE BELIEVE THAT GOD SENDS.

Throughout Christ’s earthly ministry he was sending his disciples. This sending continued even after his resurrection. In Matthew 28:18-20, we read:
18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
God’s desire is that everyone would be saved and know the truth (1 Tim. 2:4). And He sends us out to share that news with others.

WE BELIEVE THAT GOD KNOWS.

Psalm 139:1 says “You have searched me, Lord, and you know me.” God knows you. He knows what you are going through and the challenges you are facing. In fact, God doesn’t simply know from a distance, Christ entered into our pain, our struggles, and challenges. When Jesus walked this earth, he experienced suffering, pain, rejection. He knows the pain that is common to use all. We serve a God who knows. He is not far off and removed from our experience, He has entered into our pain and suffers with us. God knows.

WE BELIEVE THAT GOD PURSUES.

God is in relentless pursuit of people. He always has been. From the very beginning, when man and woman first chose to step outside of God’s plan for their lives, God pursued. Genesis 3:9 tells us that God called to them and said, “Where are you?” He didn’t wait for them to get their act together and come to Him, He went in pursuit of them. And He continues to do so today. God loves us, He knows us, and He is jealous for us. God is in relentless pursuit of you.
